desert wedding inspiration board

I know I have the tendency to say this about every post on Once Wed, but I really am so excited about today’s feature based around the love story of Georgia O’keefe and Alfred Stieglitz. Paige of Bash Eco Events, Kelly of Yes Please Design, and Megan Charley Star Photo are back today with their 2nd installment of their monthly column on Once Wed. The first part of their gorgeous shoot is coming up next!

What an AWESOME idea to base a wedding around! O’keefe and Stieglit are two of my all-time fave artists, and their story is so amazing. I am totally dying to see the amazingness that came from this inspiration! Way, too, cool.

Funny, the bottom right photo looks like it could be in a tent in the middle of the sahara, then I noticed the flat screen up above. Nice touch.

I’m pretty sure it is a shot form the Ace hotel in Palm Springs;)

What an incredible idea. Those textures, and the richness of the artists’ story, a winning combination. (ps, I think the “z” is missing in Stieglitz)

Featured Modern Bridal Fashion in an Exotic Indonesian Setting

Photographer Katie Grant recently travelled to Indonesia, where she photographed this modern bridal fashion editorial in the Prambanan Temple, an 9th century Hindu temple, revered as the most beautiful Hindu temple in the world. The expansive stone complex became the perfect setting for this modern bridal fashion inspiration: a chic column gown and simple greenery bouquet are a stunning contrast to the ancient setting.
