Coffee and photo albums filled my childhood. Whether after dinner with Grandma or a nostalgic Saturday morning, photo albums were how I met my family. I met relatives who passed on and saw my dad with a full head of hair. Pictures continue to teach me something new about my family. They introduce me to a piece of my history previously undiscovered. Photography offers a visually thick way to remember life’s landmarks, a tangible memory that can be passed down to future family member and friends.
With coffee in one hand and my camera in the other, I am excited to work with you. I so enjoy capturing intimate, community-centered weddings. As your photographer, I hold the privileged position of walking through your wedding day. I hope to cultivate a space for trust and relaxation, and produce images that allow you to relieve these beloveds moments time and again.
While based in Durham, North Carolina, I have spent much of my wedding photography career traveling to Maryland, Washington D.C., and California. There lays no distance too great for me and my camera. I look forward to meeting you and sharing in your special day.
