Hello, my name is Arnau Dubois. I’m French and a photographer of people, weddings, families and life.
I worked as a banker in Andorra, and started spending my days at the bank and my nights photographing everything around me. I decided to become a full-time photographer and moved to London where I worked with internationally renowned professionals who gave me the chance to work at important events in London, Paris and Mexico.
I tell stories and all its intimacy, and believe that the most essential thing is to capture the story rather than create the story. I want the people I photograph to be exactly who they are. I try to make my images as honest as possible, and ask my clients to do what feels real and natural for them – with genuine expressions and emotions, as well as beauty.
I love working and traveling. I now split my time between Barcelona and San Francisco.
Things I like…Massive Attack…sushi and Japanese culture…jazz in the Fillmore…Formentera near Ibiza…Vichy Catalan…a Guinness…all kinds of desserts (I’m French)…the book Ensayo Sobre La Ceguera from Jose Saramago…Mirleft beach in Morocco…Jon Hopkins…Natural Llight…Tea…Keith Jarrett…and so much more.
