This is a lovely dress, particularly for someone having a more informal wedding. The V-beck is very flattering. Unfortunately, the bridal shop insisted on ordering it three sizes too big. The alterations — which cost more than the dress — are perfect. But they could not raise the waistline and it never quite looked right on me. It has not been worn, and I bought another one from J. Crew.
