My husband and I have been married for 7 years now. A few years back we separated. It was a very dark period of our lives. When we got back together in 2012 we decided that we were finally going to have the wedding we both always wanted. So began planning it and with the help of my family we were finally going to make it happen. My husband wanted to be a part of my dress shopping. We found a store name Ocones in Fort Worth Texas. I tried on a few dresses but it was nothing he like. When I finally came out the dressing room in my Maggie Sottero Bernadette dress and the lady put the veil on and I stepped in front of the mirror where my husband was, he cried and whispered in my ear “you are always this beautiful in my eyes” We didn’t have the money for the dress. My husband decided to sell his truck that he’s had since high school and surprised me with the dress a few months later. We were supposed to have out wedding May 19, 2013, but it never happened. After we have spent over $5000 in down payments, invitations and many other things, my family told us that they were not going to be able to help anymore. Well I’ve had a beautiful baby since and am expecting another one. This dress is NEW. NEVER BEEN WORN besides trying it on and now it’s just collecting dust in my closet. It’s really depression to see it there everyday and I hope someone can share on that experience I had with my husband, that it does not matter what day it is “I’m always beautiful in his eyes”.
