This dreamy, couture gown was bought as a sample by myself, but never actually worn. I paid to have the dress professionally cleaned for peace of mind, but the dress was already in immaculate condition. The gown can be worn with crinoline to give it a full ballgown appearance or without for a more chic, a-line silhouette. The ruffled, halter neckline is gorgeous and very unique and the invisible side pockets are brilliant. This dress is timeless, yet modern and completely feminine. It is lightweight and extremely comfortable. The silk is absolutely amazing! The dress has been slightly altered to include a custom, open back corset for added comfort (original zipper fully in tact), a traditional bustle, a slightly raised waistline so that the dress is more empire waistline and slightly taken in sides at bust and neckline.
