This is a couture Alvina Valenta dress worn in September 2010. It comes with a detachable train and has stunning back detail with delicate buttons and a beautiful modern bow above the buttons. The color is Oyster but appears ivory. The fabric is a flattering and forgiving silk shantung and is fit and flare. This dress will flatter those with hips and an athletic build but will look fantastic on any bride. The seller wore this dress at her own wedding, but it looks flawlessly brand new. Her mother was careful with the dress both before and after her wedding, and it was cleaned the week after a brief wear and has been perfectly preserved, stored and packaged since 2010.
The seller purchased this dress in 2010 for my wedding — it was purchased in San Diego at a boutique called “Here Comes the Bride”. She paid roughly $3,000 for it and had alterations to the length and slight alterations to the bust. The dress is easily altered to fit any size around 4-6 and possibly a small 8. It’s absolutely beautiful and will make any bride stunning.
- Alterations: The seller had very minor alterations to the length and a very slight alteration to the bust to fit her A-B chest size. The dress is in perfect condition as it was sent for professional cleaning and packaging the week following the wedding. There are absolutely no stains and looks brand new.
- Preservation Method: The dress is currently professionally boxed and stored and waiting to be bought for wear on the next beautiful bride!
