A very romantic and classic dress that would suit many venues. It was perfect for our December wedding at a turn-of-the-century mansion in Seattle, WA.
The lace detail is delicate, but not fussy. The beaded detail is perfect for the bride who wants some sparkle, but isn’t into “bling.” The detail on the bust is very delicate and soft with a beautiful texture. The covered buttons down the back are a classic, elegant touch.
The dress has spaghetti straps that can be worn, or tacked down to wear as strapless. I chose to wear it strapless.
It has a chapel length train which goes into a standard bustle.
I felt as glamorous and as classic as the Dutchess of Cambridge (although my wedding was 4 months before hers!)
If you are looking for a dress that is both romantic, versatile and classic, this is the dress for you!
Never worn outside (we got married in Seattle in December at night, so it was dark and rainy!)
The floral detail from the Allure photo was removed and I do not have it, but something similar could easily be added by a seamstress. (I wore the flowers in my hair under my veil instead.)
Two small pink stains are on the underskirt, but cannot be see when worn with the lace overlay.
