Londoners, Lesley & Tim chose Tuscany as the place they would celebrate marriage with their closest friends & family.  The couple chose Villa Di Masseto, just minutes from Florence, as the wedding week venue for its gardens, orchard, and gorgeous view. With the natural surroundings so amazing, Lesley & the couple’s stylist, Ginny Au, aimed for simple, beautiful design that let the setting speak for itself. The flowers were picked up from the Florence market the morning of and combined with olive branches from the orchard on the property. For dinner decor, they chose a garland of olive branches down the center of one long table, watercolor place cards, and hand dyed ribbon from Ginny’s new ribbon line, Froufrou Chic, to wrap around the linen napkins(check back tomorrow for a ribbon giveaway from Froufrou Chic).

The ceremony took place overlooking the beautiful valley & dinner in the romantic olive orchard. Guests were welcomed to the ceremony with ice cream cones, Lesley walked down the aisle to Tim’s sister playing the violin, friends dipped their toes in the pool during cocktail hour, and Tim surprised his bride with a stunning tux by the end of the day before dancing the night away! It was the most wonderful week in Italy!

I love how elegant this wedding is, yet how simple everything is. Details are simple yet pulled off – small and intimate, from the seating to the table settings everything is so perfectly chosen – and I love the brides dress – amazing!!
