Happy Monday, all! I’ve been looking forward to sharing this fantastic wedding with you all weekend. Annie and Mat were married earlier this summer in Franklin, Tennessee, and you may remember seeing Annie from our Farm Fresh Wedding a few months back–isn’t she just beautiful? From purple gingham to a unique jeweled necklace, I love the juxtaposition of classic country and vogue. And Tec Petaja’s photography is something to brag about in of itself!
Mat and I chose Deer Valley Farm in Franklin, Tennessee, for the unique charm the farm held, with billowing & enchanting willow trees, the tremendous barn for the ceremony, and the fenced pasture adjoining the barn, which yielded the perfect setting for the southern themed reception and dance party under the stars. It was important to us to keep our wedding traditional, while incorporating things unique to each of us. The wedding ceremony, in the barn, was of a dark setting with majestic music, and in contrast, the outdoor reception was full of vibrant southern life. The band, pulled directly from Broadway in Nashville, kept the reception party in full swing with 50’s rockabilly hits.
