Wood Nymphs and Plaid

While perusing New York Magazine’s wedding website this morning, I came across this delightful, lakeside shindig in the mountains. Ashley and Rob were married at Camp Otterbook in Adirondack State Pack, NY and used the surrounding enviroment as inspiration for the organic food and decor. Who knew elements inspired by plaid and wood nymphs could work so well together for a wedding?

I adore this wedding. Plaid pants for the groom and a wood nymph wedding dress for the bride = Perfection!

I love adirondack style weddings. There aren’t many in the blog world, so it is refreshing to see one here.

This wedding was also featured in Well Wed New York two years ago. More pictures. I just tossed the issue a few weeks ago. I spent my summers in the Addirondacks and had been dreaming of a wedding there for years. That is why I started my blog. Rustic Mountian weddings will be the focus. Please stop by.

The dress is grogeous. Anyone know who made it or where I can get something similar?
