Melissa and Pete were married this past December in Nashville, TN surrounded by close friends and family in true southern style. Tec and Chelsea Petaja are actually good friends of the bride and groom, so it was no surprise to hear Tec photographed the wedding and Chelsea created so many of the lovely details you see below. It’s hard for me to resist any wedding with a bit of vintage charm to it, but when I heard they pulled it off for only $4,000 it definitely became an instant favorite in my book…

Melissa actually found her dress on Once Wed(something I always love to hear!). Some of you might not even know this, but Once Wed is also a used wedding dress listing service. To search for a certain dress, click here.

Melissa and her bridesmaids created all the lovely bridesmaid bouquet and A Village Flower in Nashville created the bridal bouquet. Baby’s breath is always branded as filler flower, but I absolutely love it all bunched together in the image above.

You might remember a seeing a certain crafting party over on Oh My Deer where everyone got together to create the button boutonnieres above.

I too love the marriage certificate. I haven’t seen any certificates on the wedding blogs or on the sites of any stationers.

Where are people getting pretty ones?

I’d also love to know where to find the custom marriage certificates. I love all of the vintage details.

I recently sold my first wedding dress on Once Wed because I purchased another one elsewhere and I was not able to return the first one. I was so glad to be able to sell it!!

I was at their wedding and was just looking back over this post and realized one of the sweetest crafts of the wedding was not mentioned! Melissa always wanted to walk through double doors at her wedding, but because their church did not have them, Pete made some himself! They were adorable! Hope you don’t mind me sharing that Melissa =)
