There is nothing like a sweet, country wedding to get my heart beating a little faster. Jamice and Aaron’s adorable celebration took place Mill Creek Barn in the Michigan countryside this summer. ┬áIs it just me or does Michigan seem like the most enchanting place to get married? And what isn’t to love about this wedding? Bowties, wildflowers and craft paper elements–amazing!

Invitations: The designer is from California called Twig and Fig. We purchased the invites at a store in Chicago called Paper Doll Inc. The designer was super helpful. She even sent me the names of the fonts, so I could make the hotel information card to go along with the invitation set. I made the Save the Date from a design that was shared on

I LOVE all these barn weddings! I haven’t been able to find any barns in the St. Louis area. Authentic barns, that is. There are a few venues going for that barn feel, but it’s not natural.

The groom’s suit is from Macy’s. It’s Alfani. He got it tailored, and that’s how he got such a great fit. I think he spent more on the tailoring than the suit.

I printed the wedding programs on brown paper lunch bags on my printer at home. I also printed the cookie favor dinner menus on my home printer.
