After last Friday’s sneak peak, I have been so thrilled to share this adorable wedding with you! Nancy Neil sent me these images and I’ve been googly eyed over them ever since. The bright yellows and blues make such a beautiful contrast to the soft, garden feel of the whole celebration. And look at Charlotte’s gorgeous curls…dont even get me started!
Nic and I met in Rome Italy while studying abroad in college. 5 years later he proposed and we decided to get married outdoors at my high school in beautiful Ojai, California. We wanted the wedding to feel very personal and homemade and just be a fun party to celebrate with our family and friends. I collected vintage enamel flower pins and earrings over the course of our engagement and used them to make napkin rings that doubled as party favors. To keep things rustic we used twine in lieu of ribbon on the bouquets, to hang homemade escort cards and to tie our homemade name cards to mason jar water glasses. Nic’s dad got deputized to marry us and we found an amazing band, local food and flowers. It was our dream wedding and we wouldn’t have changed a thing!
Check back in just a little while for more details from this lovely day…

her wavy hair is so pretty! and i love the floral headwreath
love it! where did you get the flower napkin rings? thanks!!
Hi megan! I made the napkin rings by collecting lots of enamel flower broaches or clip on earrings on ebay. We just tied a loop of twine around each napkin and then pinned on the broach or clipped on the earrings. Ebay was definitely cheaper than flea markets since i could buy in lots.
could you tell me where this location is?
