I am so excited about today’s real wedding from the incredible, One Love Photo. We feature a lot of outdoor weddings on Once Wed, but rarely get the opportunity to feature such an amazing garden wedding like James and Cara’s. Not only did Heather do an incredible job capturing their wedding, but I absolutely adore all the little charming details Cara decided to incorporate for her guest to enjoy. Lucky for us, Cara was sweet enough to send over some details from her wedding for me to share…

One of my favorite projects from the wedding planning process was designing the save the dates and invitations.  I worked with Tara at Ephemera Custom Letterpress to get them printed which was such an easy and great experience. My friends and family were huge in helping with decorations – my bridesmaids and I handmade each flag banner that was strung in the tent and between the trees, my mom sewed all of the beautiful table runners and my dad built the adorable lemonade stand.  We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with our caterer – Jessica and Mataio of Ciao Thyme were an absolute dream to work with, and their food and service were beyond all words. My bridesmaids and I wanted to do something unique and fun to help us get ready the morning of the wedding and through a connection we found The Hairstream Studio, an airstream trailer redesigned and outfitted as a mobile hair salon that actually came to our site on the day of the wedding.

I also wanted to make note of Poco Carretto Gelato, whose adorable little cart fit right into the playful atmosphere of our wedding and served some of the most delicious gelato and sorbetto I have ever had in my life. And finally, Heather at One Love Photo was so sweet and friendly and helpful –  and amazingly talented!

Amazing wedding!!! I thought your games’ idea was so original and I am thinking of stealing it for my own outdoor wedding at the end of July. Could you let me know where you got your funky croquet set? Absolutely love it…
