A Wedding in the Forest

I’ve been incredibly impressed with the submissions I’ve been receiving from vendors and couples in Australia. Maybe it is the incredible light or their impeccable style, but every time I see a wedding from Australia I get really excited. A simple outdoor wedding was all that we wanted and exactly what we got. We were blessed with beautiful weather, celebrating with family and friends outside, by the shade of trees, under a beautiful clear sky.

I made both my dress and my bridesmaid dresses. I sourced beautiful fabric from designer stores in Sydney; gorgeous woven silk, with a natural linen look and delicate French chantilly lace. A close friend arranged my bouquet; a tight bunch of lisianthus’, while my bridesmaids carried tan leather Mimco clutches. Ben wore cream pants, paired with a light blue striped shirt and a navy sportsjacket.
