Our table settings were made from varying sizes of beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks and graduated cylinders I ordered online, a nod to a photographer’s darkroom supplies. Our florist, Cachet Fiore, did an incredible job of capturing the relaxed, desert vibe we were going for. The table numbers were plywood pieces with different photographs (all taken by Jasper) on each table. All in all, we just wanted everyone to have a great time…and hopefully, they did!
I’m excited to announce Denise will be joining us again very soon with a few DIY projects. I was so impressed by the creative charm and originality behind her wedding I couldn’t resist asking if she had any other wonderful projects up her sleeve and lucky for us she does.
Also, if you’re in the market for a bit of inspiration for a wedding website, you should definitely check out Denise Hearts Jasper. It is definitely one of my favorite wedding websites to date. Thank you again Denise and Jasper for letting me share your beautiful wedding on Once Wed today. And to their photographer, kzphoto, for the amazing images!

Erlenmeyer flasks! What an amazing idea. My FI is pre-vet Bio, and I’m a Psychology major. We would love that. :)
I’m loving this trend of out of the box weddings lately. Thanks for continuing with the lovely inspiration!
thanks for profiling our wedding…i’m beyond excited to make some stuff for your site!
So cute! I actually gave my husband the For Like Ever poster as a wedding gift! What a cheerful wedding this looks like! Thanks for sharing and I can’t wait to see more!
of course Michael DJed this fabulous wedding :)
haha! i WISH i djed this wedding! it was my associate Smiles Davis who played. so excited to see this wedding up here, jasper and denise are rad, the ace is rad. (but i guess you don’t need me to tell you that!) these photos speak volumes!
their wedding website rocks! did they design/code it?
this wedding is just too good to be true!
i love everything about it!
this is fantastic! Looks like the ACE is a great wedding venue and I bet the food was delicious.
I LOVE your burlap table runners!!!! Did you rent them or make them or buy them?? If you have them would you be willing to sell them? Please email me at jessicaandbraden@hotmail.com Thanks!!!!
@nichole: jasper designed/coded the site himself…glad you like it!
@jessica: we made them ourselves…i’d give you ours but i left them with the florists! it’s super easy and quick – the burlap is only about $1 or so a yard online and it only took us about an hour or to make enough for 8 tables. i then just cut them into 15″ wide strips, leaving the edges bare. it does smell a bit strongly at first, so i recommend you air them out beforehand!
mmm, how delicious. i love everything about it! what a very merry un-wedding…so refreshing. one of my favorite touches was the mix CD that went out with the invites. so i have to know: what song serenaded your first dance? (if you had one.)
thanks so much for sharing!
Were the table cloths rented or made? I really like the look of them!!
great details! very creative.
I love this!! I am very inspired to make these triangle garlands for my ceremony. How perfect!
Adore this wedding – love all the details!
I love the detail shots for this wedding. So creative! Awesome bridal bouquets!
Oh my! That For Like Ever print is awesome!
I love everything about this wedding! It has been a while since it was posted, but where did you find the metal hangers for the photo and table number? I have been searching for something similar, then came across your posting…any help?
