Happy Valentine’s Day! Today is a highly anticipated day for a lot of engaged girls as Anthropologie launches their wedding line, BHLDN (pronounced Beholden). We were lucky enough to be invited to come see a sneak peek of the line last week and it’s for real, y’all. The thing we were most impressed with actually was the quality of the construction and attention to detail, especially in all the under layers. The petticoats are as pretty as the dresses! We know it can be a little scary to order things online when you haven’t yet had the chance to feel them and see how they’re made but you really don’t have to worry here.

Lush and unruly, with a certain degree of restraint, I love the simplicity and elegance of lilac bouquet. All the tiny florets and buds arching on fluid stems are simple enough at first glance, but upon closer inspection, echo the intricacy of beading, skillful needlework, or sequins. And the smell!

Clustering tiny florals, seeds, and pods in metallic colors: silver painted seeded eucalyptus, dried bronze hydrangea, oak leaves, and seed pods, and white daffodils and agapanthus lend a feeling of embellishment for the actual bridal bouquet which is one of your best accessories after all.
