It feels so honest, right? It kind of reminds me of the last engagement session we posted. No gimmicks. Just pure emotion and excellent photography.

Well, we don’t normally venture into the world of celebrity weddings but we couldn’t let this one sneak by…it really was beautiful. My favorite parts? The countryside, the military jacket for the little pageboy, well, all the kids, the AMAZING veil, the teepees for the kids, and those wicker garden chairs. Oh, and the “Paul M” placecard. What about you? (You can see more here if you’d like.)

“It was an Indian summer, a bluebird sort of day…?warm and sunny, without a breath of wind; the water was sky-blue, the shores a bank of solid gold.” – Sigurd Olson
We are excited to announce the first in a series of floral workshops, presented by Amy Osaba event.floral.design on Saturday, August 20th, 2011. Join us as we unveil our new studio space at the Goat Farm!
Drawing inspiration from fiery sunsets and warm evenings ‘round the campfire, this inaugural workshop will give students the opportunity to create a lush tablescape, styled with found objects and locally foraged botanicals. At this workshop, you will not only learn some of the basics of floral design, such as flower identification and composition, but you will also learn how to implement some of our signature touches, from creating charming vignettes using vintage vessels, to incorporating local foliage into your arrangements and creating a centerpiece with movement and balance.
In addition to floral design instruction by Amy Osaba, students will be guided by Ginny Branch to style their very own photo shoot, each individually photographed by Heidi of Our Labor of Love, and participate in our version of ‘DIY arts and crafts.’ A delicious series of goodies, including a yummy ‘sack lunch,’ will be provided by Sun in My Belly, and each student will go home with not only his/her creations but also lots of goodies!
Visit the amy osaba blog for more details and information about how to reserve your spot today! [Spaces are limited.] We would love to have you!
