Win Bridesmaids Gifts from Things Remembered

Your bridesmaids are your world in the months leading up to your wedding. They’re the ones you call crying at 10 p.m. on a Tuesday because you can’t find 6 dresses in the same color, when your wedding dress no longer fits, or when you can’t find candles in the exact right color. They understand your pain and they’re always one phone call away to help.

Bridesmaids gifts are a time-honored tradition that every maid looks forward to when she’s asked to stand with you, and personalized bridesmaids gifts are the best! Things Remembered has hundreds of bridesmaids gifts that you can personalize with a monogram, their name, or even a really special message from your heart.

We love the compacts engraved with “I couldn’t say “I Do” without you!” or “You’re beautiful inside & out!” Add her name to make it even more personal and special.

Engraved wine glasses are another great gift for your girls. Add her first initial in an animal print letter and her name underneath for a great gift she can really “Cheers!” to!

Check out the Things Remembered wedding blog for even more great personalized gift ideas!

To get you started, Things Remembered is offering one of our favorite gifts to one lucky bride today! One bride will win 4 canvas totes for her maids, available in a variety of colors with color personalization included! Click here to enter and for official rules.

DIY Double Knot Ponytail

Double-knot-twist-tutorial-graphicWe love it when brides or bridesmaids get creative with their hair, and this tutorial that we worked on alongside Christian Marc, is a creative and elegant twist on a traditional ponytail. Try this look on your bridesmaids who want something a little more loose or casual as opposed to an updo, or rock it yourself! This is perfect for girls with medium to long hair, and we would pair a sleek look like this with either our DIY Natural Bridal Makeup or DIY Elegant Evening Makeup Tutorials.

1. Take hair and separate into two equal sized parts and twist outward.

2. Take the two equal pieces and knot them together at the base of your scalp, pulling until knot reaches your head.

3. Repeat step 2 so that you have two knots.

4. Take one of the sections (the shorter of the two), tuck and pin up with bobby pins until secure.

Romantic Australian Engagement from Jose Villa

Sometimes words fail us, and that’s often the case when Jose Villa is involved. His photography and talent for capturing true emotions and beauty is unrivaled, and this session with Jemma Keech is no exception. Jemma is a talented photographer herself, and chose Jose to photograph herself and her fiance so beautifully in her hometown of Denmark, Australia and then their wedding the following day. These images are absolutely unreal, and we just want to take a few minutes to soak them all in…
