These days, full of soft touches, secrets, and whispered I love you’s, are the simple moments that you’ll remember for the rest of your lives. Those last few days before you rejoin the world after the wedding, when it’s just the two of you and it feels like you’re the only two people left on Earth, feel like nothing else matters, nothing but your love and the commitment you’ve made to one another.

These days post-honeymoon are precious, so start them full of beautiful products from your Zola Registry. We love these beautiful bed linens and comfy blankets that turn your bed into a literal post-wedding cloud full of happiness and snuggles. A Classic Love Story

Wedding themes can be tricky, but one “theme” that will never go out of style is that of a classic love story. We love the inspirational elements in this editorial shoot and are excited to share more of the ideas behind them with you, from the charming outdoor venue with gorgeous gardens (always one of our favorites!), to the intimate dinner setting, to those amazing florals. Read on for more!

From the Vendor Team:
“From the moment we stumbled upon Tudor Place, we were enamored with its beauty and inspired by its charm. The hustle and bustle of being in the heart of Washington, DC disappeared once we stepped beyond the property gates. With its impressive architecture and lush gardens, we found ourselves daydreaming of a classic love story which would become the inspiration for our editorial shoot.

Our vision was to embrace the residential and luxurious feel of the property. A tucked away garden was the perfect location for the intimate celebration. We set the dining table with pieces that could be found within the home; a textured raw silk linen, family heirloom china, antique silver and fine crystal. These elements were balanced with lush and organic florals in soft yellows and creams. We incorporated delicate blue accents, through the place settings and timeless stationery, to compliment this palette.

The bride’s styling was effortless and sophisticated. Her understated hair and makeup looked stunning in the soft and natural afternoon light and her Zuhair Murad gown played off of the textures throughout the gardens. All of the elements blended so naturally and set the tone for a classically beautiful affair. “

Searching for your bridal gown can be either enjoyable and simple, or terribly difficult. Thanks to reality TV, we all know that there are many factors which affect how your shopping experience will be, and today we’re excited to introduce you to one boutique that has become a destination for all East coast brides: Garnish Boutique.

Located in Baltimore, Garnish is widely recognized for its elegant, intimate atmosphere and dedicated shopping experience. Since their recent renovation and expansion, the boutique is a must-do for every bride on the East coast. With a long list of exclusive sought-after designer labels, and Garnish’s intimate and inviting approach to the bridal shopping experience, brides (and their moms and best gals!) will find that the dress search doesn’t need to be stressful, difficult, or painstaking.

So what is it that sets Garnish apart from every other bridal salon? First, their stunning interior makes you feel like a million bucks. What bride wants to feel like she’s trying on the most important dress of her life in a dimly-lit closet? Thanks to a luxe, inspiring interior with plenty of natural light, brides can really see the true color and lustre of bridal fabrics. Next, the curated selection of designers exclusive to Garnish is amazing (we’re talking about some of our favorite designers: Amsale, Amy Kuschel, Catherine Deane, Christos, Hayley Paige, Leanne Marshall, Liancarlo, Nicole Miller, and Romona Kevezaas well as bridal accessory designer Twigs & Honey), and each gown is hand-selected to ensure that every stylish bride can find what she’s looking for, whether her wedding is indoor or outdoor, boho or classic. Outdoor Anniversary Photos

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: amazing photography shouldn’t just be reserved for the wedding day. We love that Andrea and Mamadou wanted to celebrate their wedding anniversary with a beautiful photo session. When you’re planning your photo session, we encourage you to find as beautiful of a location as this one — an overgrown landscape, a trickling creek, a moss-covered tree…and this lucky couple had it all in one! Check out some of our favorite outdoor anniversary and engagement sessions here, here, and here!
