Intimate, Sentimental Wedding Day in Montenegro

Wedding photographers have a unique ability as well as a unique responsibility, as they can capture the moments of our most previous times like no one else. This intimate, sentimental wedding day in Montenegro is no exception. The couple recounts their nerves and excitement leading up to their first moment seeing each other, and throughout the ceremony. We see the tears in the bride’s eyes, the sense of restrained excitement in the groom’s hands. It doesn’t hurt that the design elements of the day couldn’t be lovelier, either – with a romantic palette of blush, cream, and green, bowls full of peonies on the guest tables, and an outdoor dinner with the sun setting on the sea beyond, this wedding day couldn’t be lovelier.

“Last autumn we moved to Montenegro to live there for a while and celebrate our wedding. We’ve always dreamed about a small and cozy celebration with only our family and closest friends. And that day most certainly came. The thrill and excitement filled me. I was so nervous waiting for Maxim in the room. I remember how he lifted the veil; I will never forget his eyes, full of happiness and love. He was telling me some funny stories during the walk that made me laugh, and later, at the ceremony, I was so touched by Max’s vow that I forgot my own speech!
I was really worried about everything before the wedding, but it turned out to be cozy and warm – just like we wanted. We are so grateful to Sonya and her husband who helped us and created that atmosphere. Today I remember our day with a smile, because, for us, it was the best one yet.”
