BCBG Strapless Applique Dress

August 31st, 2009 — 11:13pm

I’m selling an unworn, with tags BCBG strapless applique dress Size 0. Very cute and great for a civil wedding, or any special occasion! Raw-edged fabric and tulle flowers, boned for a shapely fit. Rubber strip at front and back edge secures fit.

For buyers in USA shipping is free via USPS priority mail. International buyers pay additional. Dress will need to be steamed.

I searched everywhere to get this dress to wear to my civil ceremony mid-August this year ended up getting the wrong size.

Bonny

August 31st, 2009 — 10:01pm

I fell in love with this dress on EBay when I was engaged, bought it and kept it when we broke up, planning to wear it when I did get married. I fully intended to lose weight to fit into it for my wedding to my soulmate in November, but discovered it was still a bit too small for me about 6 weeks ago.

While I won\’t be able to wear it in time for my wedding, I know another bride would love to wear this gorgeous dress on her own wedding day. : )

Original listing on EBay:

DESCRIPTION: This satin charmeuse gown has a scalloped sweetheart neckline, basque waistline, and cap sleeves. The bodice and hemline are accented with embroidery and light beading. Cathedral train decorated with buttons and bows. Ivory with cafe, this NEW gown, will fit bust 40, waist 31, and hips 42. ABOUT MY GOWNS: My gowns are all BRAND NEW, unless noted. They are not shop samples, they have never been worn to a wedding or altered in any way. ….

It is a beautiful gown by Bonny, and I wish I could have worn it. I swore I wouldn\’t sell it until I found a dress I was just as happy to wear…and I just got the perfect one last week. : )

It is new with tags, however, I accidentally got the tag caught in the zipper of the bag it was in. Sigh. The tag will be included in the package, but it is no longer attached.

Will need to be steamed/pressed, as it is a bit wrinkled from hanging in my closet, which is a bit overstuffed from having 4 wedding dresses in there. One down…hoping to sell the extra two dresses I have…soon.

Cash if picking up, Paypal payment accepted for shipments.

I can ship easiest on Saturdays…it is a bit tough to ship from work during the week, especially with a box this size. US Postal Service or UPS preferred, as I can get to those shipping locations easily.

Feel free to ask questions, or contact me for additional pictures.

As-is sale. No returns or exchanges. Non-smoking household.

Charo Peres

August 31st, 2009 — 9:19pm

This is a spring 2007 Charo Peres design. It was a sample in immaculate condition. It was originally a size 10 and I had it altered down to fit me. I also removed the bow, and was going to replace it with an antique broach. Not wearing the dress because it doesn’t fit our venue. The train is very long and is equipped with an internal bustle. The alterations done on the length can be let out to the original length if you are taller than 5′5″ in heels. The dress is stunning with a beautiful antique feel. Very unique. Perfect for a rustic or antique wedding.

La Sposa Merida

August 31st, 2009 — 7:26pm

This is a beautiful La Sposa wedding gown from the 2008 Taffeta collection. I will also include the veil in the purchase price! It was worn only for a few hours on my wedding day. It is ivory taffeta with an soft, semi-sweetheart neckline and gathered feminine detailing along the bodice. The bottom of the dress is asymmetrical and gathered at the hip, revealing the tulle underneath. The dress is layered with floral lace and beading appliques. Photographs beautifully. Has not been altered besides to add a side bustle and crinoline. The gown has not been preserved or cleaned; however there are no noticeable dirt marks. The only imperfection is the ribbon sewn to the inside of the dress to hang it by have been removed (so they would not peek out in photos). This can be easily added. Also, there is a small tear in the tulle along the bottom of the dress where it was stepped on. It is not very noticeable because it blends well with the rest of the tulle. This is very easily fixed by a seamstress. This dress can easily be accommodated to fit someone shorter.
