The event design company, Amorology, was kind enough to share the beautiful wedding of Pernel and Aaron with us today on Once Wed. Pernel, the lovely bride, came to Heather with a color palette of mint green, aqua, lemon yellow, and peony pink for her wedding and of course the amazing team at Amorology ran with it to create an incredible celebration. I especially love her bouquet designed by Twigg Botanicals filled with pink peonies, garden roses, and billy balls. So pretty!
So much more loveliness coming up next!

This paper garland takes a festive twist on an old favorite by creating cone shaped pennants attached to a strand of cafe lights. Strung in the trees or over outdoor tables, this is a wonderful way to light up an evening wedding. In this sample I chose to write out a couple’s names (“EVA & JACK”) but feel free to punch any wording or design that you like. Click “more” below to see the rest of the project.

I am thrilled to introduce, Corbin Gurkin Photography, as one of our newest sponsors on Once Wed. What can I say about Corbin that her stunning photographs don’t already tell so well? Her images are captivating and breathtaking, and I am consistently blown away by her work including this recent photo shoot…

Um, can we say GORGEOUS? Because she travels for the majority of her weddings, travel expenses are already included in her domestic wedding photography packages. Corbin also has generously offered a 25% discount on her packages to three Once Wed readers who are throwing a DIY wedding, so if you are interested in taking advantage of this incredible offer send her an email at photo{at}corbingurkin{dot}com with all the fun details and inspiration you’ve been planning for your wedding.

How quirky and fun is the invitation set below from designer, Erin Jang? I have such a weak spot for beautiful paper goods, so whenever a new post from her blog pops up in my reader I know whatever she is sharing is going to be amazing. She is incredibly creative and always incorporates the neatest elements in her designs. Erin drew inspiration for the invitations below from the couple’s venue, The Smog Shoppe, which is a green, environmentally-friendly space in LA that has some beautiful vertical gardens and succulents and exotic plants in their space. Thanks again for sharing, Erin!
