Sometimes I wonder what I would have worn at my own wedding if I had known everything I know now about wedding dresses. I would definitely break out of my comfort zone and wear something with some color, but wearing some sort of pattern never crossed my mind until today. This beautiful dress has changed everything though…

Oh, and my bouquet would probably look something like this…

Jill Thomas was kind enough to send over images last week from Joe & Devon’s intimate, but oh so fun wedding. You might have already seen a feature on their post wedding images over at Green Wedding Shoes, but I couldn’t resist sharing them here too….

Instead of a traditional reception after the wedding, Joe and Devon had intimate dinner the night before where they celebrated with family and friends, and I had to post their amazing centerpieces. I’ve seen logs used in the place of vases before, but the initials and date carved into the wood is a first for me and I love the personal touch it adds.

I had the opportunity to attend a wonderful conference, The B-List, a few weeks back in Brooklyn hosted by Vane of Brooklyn Bride and Anne of From I Will To Will Do. The were generous enough to put together a fantastic gathering of 30 or so wedding bloggers for a informative day filled with guest speakers, discussions, and a vendor meet and greet. It was so great to finally put a face to so many wonderful and talented bloggers and I look forward to our next gathering! A list of the bloggers who attended the event in no particular order…

Laurie’s project this week is an adorable, flower girl basket made out of a plain ol’ take out container. Laurie covered her basket with specialty paper and paper flower embellishments, but the possibilites of colors and patterns are really endless. Enjoy!
