I’ve been collecting handkerchiefs for a while and have been trying to figure out a way to incorporate them into a project. I just love all the different patterns and they come in
every color under the sun. They could really coordinate with any wedding. After the wedding, these could easily be disassembled and the
handkerchiefs and jars could be used again for their original purpose.
Thanks

sales and thrift stores, so are handkerchiefs. Bailing wire is
available at any hardware store.
use these in a humid location, I would suggest using a little spray
starch to help keep them crisp)
top of the handkerchief down (see figure 2) to create a band of
fabric that is the same height as the jar. Press the folds.
around the grooves in the top of the jar, then create a hanger. (see

Laurie, your the best! Thanks for another wonderful project!!
What do you think of gold goblets and succelents? I’ve been seeing a few examples around the blogsphere recently and its definitely growing on me, but it is quite different.

The new pieces from Alice Temperley’s bridal collection are amazingly beautiful. I want to play dress up in all of them…
I’m loving these new cakes from The Cake Girls.
I’ve seen doily patterns created on the actual cake, but have never seen them
sticking out of the cake like above.
I found a great shop this morning filled with all these "precious littles". Do I need a mini, vintage bottle of mica or dahlias made out of paper? No, but a girl can dream of having a closet filled with all kinds of crafty goodness. Papier Valise also has a great selection of vintage packaging, block letters, and millinery flowers too.
