I hope you have a wonderful New Years Eve! I am so excited about 2009 and I will see everyone back here Monday morning…

Remember this gorgeous image I posted last week? Well, the very talented Jonathan Canlas was kind enough to share a few more images from Caisa and Adrian’s charming wedding for today’s real wedding feature. I can’t tell you how much I love Caisa’s wedding dress. I am not usually drawn to lots of ruffles, but man does she pull of her wedding dress smashingly well or what? Jonathan did such a beautiful job of capturing the fun and lighthearted mood of the day, so you definitely don’t want to miss checking out his blog for more.

Posting will be a little lighter than usual this week, but I will definitely be
back to my normal routine by next Monday. I thought I would start off the week sharing some of my favorite details from the new Martha Stewart
Weddings. I’m not really a pink person, but all the gorgeous peaches and yellows in the newest issue are just too lovely to resist.
I really like the simple, doiley garlands above. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them used in this format before, but it seems like a pretty easy and fun project to undertake. My favorite spread in the whole magazine though was this table top created by the very talented Sarah Ryhanen of Saipua. I know its hard to see from the images, but she used the most beautiful depression-era glass as vases and the flowers of course are absolutely gorgeous.
I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by and how far Once Wed
has come since when I first launched it back in March. I am so excited
about 2009 and can’t wait to implement all these ideas I’ve been
dreaming of to make the site even better. We are finally in the
homefront of the new site launch, so I am taking the next week off to
finalize details and upload new content. I hope everyone has a
wonderful and safe holiday with friends and family. I will see you back
here in 2009. Merry Christmas!

To set the mood for their upcoming wedding, Liana decided on invitations with a woodland/nature feel about them. She created the Save The Date template herself and had them printed by Overnight Prints. The nature stamps were found on ebay and the invitations are from Olio Style.

Liana, thank you again for taking the time to share your beautiful wedding with us today!
