This gown is a “Wow Dress”. This high style silk taffeta draped modified strapless sheath has a sweetheart knotted bodice and rouching across the body that flatters every curve. This dress has a zipper closure, which is hidden by loop and taffeta covered button closures. It is dramatic and stunning. This dress is ivory in color and looks slightly darker in the photos than it actually is. The photo attached to this listing that features the model, is from the Marisa catalog and is in a cafe color, which is darker than the dress that is for sale.

This dress was originally priced at $2,150. It is a sample gown and is in very good condition. It needs a spot cleaning from the dry cleaner to remove a very small smudge on the left side of the bust, but otherwise it is clean and fresh. It is missing one button in the back, which could easily be replaced.

Described by the designer as: Duchess silk satin gown with a full, box pleated skirt and cathedral length train. Elegant beading and embroidery extend from the scoop illusion neckline through the waistline and skirt. More specifically, the tank neckline is a fine, featherweight, sheer tulle that creates an air of illusion of modesty ? technically covering but subtly exposing.

I love this dress; however, I bought it a size too small thinking that I would slim down in time for my wedding. The photos were taken when I was even slimmer prior to the dress being dry cleaned. The dress is a strapless a-line with rouching and crystal and pearl accents at the waist. It makes your waist look fantastic!! It is a simple and elegant design just waiting for the right bride.

It fits a street size 2-4 (I am 5′4″ and 115lbs). Dress length appropriate for my height plus 2 inch heels.
