Epicurious.com has a great little tutorial online right now for somone who might be interested in tackling a project like the arrangements above, but has no clue where to start(I include myself in this group). Remember the beautiful pictures of the vintage containers I posted last week? I love their take on it with a good ol’ tomato can.

I wanted to end this week with beautiful images from Lindsey + Grant’s Texas wedding courtesy of the very talented, Jennifer Nichols. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see you here again next week with more real weddings and vendor spotlights. Enjoy!
Not only is this couple absolutely adorable, but isn’t the lighting in this set incredible?
I love the bouquet up against that damask fabric. Orange and black never looked so good together.
How cute are the flower girls in their leopard cardigans?

It’s been very HOT the last couple of days in Atlanta, so naturally I’ve had anything summer related on the brain. I just love, love, love the idea of serving ice cream to guests at a wedding and as you can see above the possiblities in presentation and flavor are endless.
Top to Bottom, Left to Right: Toasted Sesame ice cream by Lara Ferroni via DesignSponge, Ice cream cones by Fork & Spoon via Hello Lucky, Mint Ice Cream Sandwich, Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Pops, Poppyseed ice cream cones via Tastespotting,

You might remember a sneak peak of this wedding from my post on their adorable kokeshi wedding caketopper, but I didnt want to pass up showing the rest of the incredible details from their beautiful wedding. Im always amazed at the talent of Angel, the leading lady behind Love and Splendor. No detail is overlooked when she plans a wedding and all her clients I’ve encountered in the blog world have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. If you live in Southern California and are beginning stages of looking for a wedding planner, Angel should be on the top of your list. Also, Leigh Miller is the fantastic photographer behind these images and she has a great blog filled with more of her images. Enjoy!

Hanging lanterns at your wedding can be a great way to set the mood for the evening. I cant think of anything more wonderful than sitting at a table with friends on a cool spring night lit by hanging lanterns above. For those looking for a low-cost option, I found a great selection of lanterns and lights at Ikea in their current summer collection.
