4 is meant to fit a 25 inch waist but can be let out a couple of inches if you need and obviously can also be taken in if you need. I really do love this dress. It's so simple and chic w/ a dramatic flower on the hip. I paid $3300 and it comes w/ a matching silk veil worth $200. No sad story. Just chose a completely different venue so need to sell this one before I get a new dress please. Note the pix of me below are in the sample I tried on from when I ordered it not the brand new one that will be arriving in a couple of weeks.
