Paper Wysteria
Ruthi, a display coordinator at Anthropologie, recently created this beautiful wysteria tree made out of tissue paper and branches to hang in the home section of her store. This of course would be major DIY project for a wedding, but how lovely would it be to get married under a tree of paper wysteria?
Ooh! These are gorgeous! I wish she gave a step by step on how to make them!
so lovely and dreamy. i wonder how it was made? any detail shots?
I was so inspired by this post that developed my own tutorial for a project with a similar look that will eventually end up in my bedroom. I didn’t want to copy her method after I figure out how she did it, so mine is constructed differently than her’s. It’s really easy & inexpensive and has the same overall feel to it. Hope someone finds it useful: http://www.kerrfect.com/2011/04/paper-wysteria-tutorial/

This is exactly what I’m doing for my ceremony! This is the store in irvine at Fashion Island. I snapped this photo a month ago and decided to use them as an arch over our ceremony. So pretty!
