the Rouched waist and the big flare mermaid silhouette created an illusion that the waist is soooo tiny. Vintage style crystal and pearl appliqu? is so glamorous and chic. The ivory silk duchess satin is so smooth; the fabric has a subtle glow and when it?s exposed under the flashlight or candles, it?s like the gown become alive. It is a dream dress! I am a 3 dress bride ;p? I fall in love with 3 wedding dresses and brought them all!! I know it?s a little crazy and it?s all because I am so lucky I found 2 of them at the designer?s sample sales. (I did a lot of research of course) The unfortunate part is that I brought this one 1 size too small and hoping I could lose some weight but I actually gained weight during the planning process. (Pressure = cakes) So I am here to sell this Alvina dress to someone who could enjoy it as much as I would As you can see in my pics, I can still fit in this gown, my measurement is bust 35, waist 27 1/2? and hip 37 _?, so I think it?s construction (build-in corset) that helped. The gown is in good sample condition. (Still has sample tag attached) All the satin fabric covered buttons are in place. The side zipper is in perfect working condition. The hem is a little dusty, it need to be cleaned, but you might need to hem it off anyway. There are few places that the fabric is pulled but they are barely noticeable. You might want to steam it before going down the aisle because it?s been stored in the garment bag and the bottom part is a little wrinkled.
