I bought this dress off the rack at a bridal salon and had every intention of losing enough weight to fit into it by the time my wedding came along (don't we all?). With six weeks to go, it's not looking promising, so I'm going with another option instead and hoping someone else can proudly wear this lovely gown on their wedding day. It is brand-new, with tags attached, and has never been worn except to try on. The gown is a deep ivory/champagne satin A-line with a beige/taupe embroidered sash at the top that trails all the way to the end of the chapel-length train. There is a row of covered buttons all the way down the back of the dress. It is classic, simple, and elegant, and I truly regret that I will not be able to wear it on my wedding day. I do not have exact measurements for the dress, as the Diva line has been discontinued by Paloma Blanca and I have been unable to obtain the size chart. Based on my experience with the dress, I think it would likely fit a street size 12-14. Original retail price for this gown was $1900. I'm asking $900; it's essentially a one-of-a-kind gown (I've looked for it elsewhere with no luck!), and it is VERY well made, with a full lining, a thin built-in crinoline, and a thick elastic strap on the inside to keep the bodice in place.
