is a "modified mermaid" fit (easy to move around in unlike traditional "mermaid" styles). The material is duchess satin silk with extra layers of silk charmeuse around the bust area. It has a fabulous train with buttons all the way down the back with zipper so that it isn't hard to put on the dress. The dress colour is diamond white, which looks beautiful. The dress can also be put in a French bustle at the back for a different look. The removable petticoat (crinalin) can be hooked inside the dress for a fuller look, or else taken out for another look. The dress is a size 6, but is a street size 2 (all Romona dresses fit bigger than actual street sizes). I wear a 34B bra. This dress has been worn once and I had it professionally cleaned and preserved in an "acid free preservation box" right after the wedding (it cost me $350) and stored the dress in a pet free, non-smoking home. The dress is in pristine condition with no rips, stains or tears. The current retail price at stores is much higher now than when I originally purchased it due to the increased cost of the silk. I still have the original Romona Keveza hang tag which I can give to you as well as the original garment bag it came in. This is a beautiful dress and photographs really well.
