Strapless, modified fit-and-flare A-line Anne Barge gown with a seamed bodice and chapel length train. Unique, flattering ivory/champagne color created by 6 layers of silk and organza. Bought in March 2010 for our Nov. 2010 wedding. After many rounds of trying on dresses that didn’t feel right, I found this gorgeous gown at Hitched bridal boutique in Washington, D.C. Because of my wide hips (and wide butt!) and small waist, I thought I could only wear a ballgown style, but this dress was far more flattering; I was floored by all the compliments I received. I usually dislike decoration, but the subtle, delicate glass beading and organza appliques add a beautiful texture that looked perfect for our formal evening garden wedding and reception. Two layers of tulle and a three-point French bustle create a little drama in the skirt, which was incredibly fun to dance in! I am also including the custom-made cathedral veil. I can provide plenty of professional close-up photos of the beading, veil, bodice, etc., and additional photos of dress.
