DIY Geometric Paper Wrapped Votives

I hear people ask what to do with inspiration boards: “well that’s nice, but how do I translate that into a wedding?” When you see elements of an inspiration board, let your mind wander about ways to interpret those elements…it doesn’t have to be exactly the way you see it on the board…just let it inspire you. For example, we decided to wrap votives and hurricanes mimicking the paper design from this week’s board. It’s a pretty literal translation of the design but you could apply it in a million ways–or you could stray farther from the design…just use the inspiration boards as a starting point.
