I purchased this dress off Oncewed about a year and a half ago and it was in interesting condition - yellowed, large stain on right side, broken clasp. I paid a lot to have it restored almost completely and it is so beautiful. It was originally purchased and worn in...

1950 in California, and I wore it on May 8th 2010 in Nashville. It tells such a story and is extremely unique. There is still a very dull stain on the right side where we worked hard to get 95% of it out but the lace creases making it hard to see. There is also a small lipstick stain we were unable to get out on the top of the left breast, but it folds over when worn. It is a rare vintage find and I want to pass it on to another bride to wear and love and enjoy, hopefully maybe you'll then pass it on to another woman. :) If you decide to have it cleaned, please find someone who is knowledgeable with vintage material so you don't ruin the dress by taking it to a normal cleaner.
