Hi, I wore this dress for my wedding on 11/7 and both my husband and I loved it! His first word to me was WOW! : ) Ivory beaded lace over champagne satin. The dress sparkles in the light. The length was shortened by my tailor, who folded the material...
under at the waist and stitched it, so there is a chance that it could be let back out if you are taller than 5'2 + 2" heels. : ) A French bustle was added for the reception. It has a zip up back. I wore a vintage slip instead of a crinoline, which would have poofed it out, but you could do that if you like a larger skirt diameter. The original size is 20, (the only size I could get 6 weeks before my wedding), my street size is 14. It literally stood away from me when it was zipped up, so it had to be taken in at the bustline. My measurements are 42, 35, 42. The dress is more forgiving at the waist and the hips. I have not cleaned it, so it is a bit dirty at the underside of the train hem . I looked it over for any tears and couldn't find any. It will be shipped hanging in a cloth bridal bag from the bridal shop. I beaded my own veil to match the dress...but you could find something you like at the store rather than putting in the work to make your own. I would consider making another for a bride who wants a custom one. : ) I'm also selling boots...a lace ivory pair that were too small for me (38.5 Aus. size...probably a better fit for a size 7 US). Please contact me if interested in those.Read More » - CLEANING/PRESERVATION METHOD:
