A Sweet Mountaintop Wedding IV
Well, unfortunately, all good things must come to and end–but couldn’t you just look at images from this wedding all day long? What a sweet celebration this was…I’m so glad that we could all share in your joy, Nick and Surya!
I just mostly tried not to cry all day and enjoy our friends and family and being married. We had our great buddy Garland officiate the ceremony which was amazing. We wrote it ourselves which made it so much more personal and meaningful for us. My little sis/maid of honor WROTE AND PERFORMED our first dance song which was such a gift and definitely a sob-fest for me. The rest of the night was mostly just the best dance party in the world. Our friends have some serious moves. :)
It was literally perfect. We didn’t stop the dance party to cut the cake and I forgot all about throwing the bouquet. And it honestly didn’t matter one little bit. I’m assuming that’s how most people feel about their weddings but I’m just really happy that that’s how we felt about ours.

Hey Surya, if you ever think about selling your dress, I’d be super interested : I really wanted this dress (how did you unsew/hide the black ribbon?), but I can’t find it in my size and maybe just maybe yours happen to be a size 6. That being said, I understand if you wanna keep it. Your wedding photos are truly amazing! Congrats!

Julie! I’m not even sure why, but I’m not quite ready to sell the dress. :( BUT! I just bought some ribbon and took it to a seamstress! She whipped it up, no problem.
Suzanne! The necklace is from Madewell. I got it last season but I think they still have it!

This wedding was shot on a mountain outside Basalt in CO. The house belongs to Nick’s parents.
