A Playful Vineyard Wedding
Oh have I got such a fun wedding to share with you this morning. My girl Joy Thigpen teamed up with Our Labor of Love to create this whimsical celebration at Crane Creek Vineyard up in north Georgia. This wedding just goes to show that whoever says you have to grow up when you get married is seriously wrong!
Leah and Jon are one cool couple. She’s a composer and he plays double base. They met at Julliard, though they are more of the August Rush type, mixing classical brilliance with child-like wonder. Leah says, “guard your innocence with your life!” As such, they wanted their wedding to embody the spirit of Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, and a slew of other favorite childrens’ literature, infused with the Southern mom and pop winery they found so enchanting.
