A Cambodian Wedding II
SmogShoppe was the obvious choice for our royal wedding venue. With its vertical walls of succulents, LEED Platinum candidate credentials, and modern vintage style, it was an impossibly perfect L.A. oasis. The eclectic SmogShoppe décor was complemented by additional treasures I found on Etsy and by scouring local thrift stores…
We concluded with a western wedding ceremony that can best be described as “totally us” – a ‘Lovecats’ wedding march, paired with ‘The Owl & the Pussycat’ inspired wedding vows, and ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand’ performed by our four-friend wedding quartet. Wedding guests were treated to a scrumptious feast prepared by Animal Restaurant, followed by a cupcake toast, music, and photo booth fun.
Stay tuned for part III of Dararith and Sandy’s colorful reception coming up next!

Wow – really stunning. I love all the rustic elegance.
There are so many colors, but they work so well together. This wedding is definitely full of personality.
Wonderful! It’s so nice to see a couple who really creates an event that matches their personalities. I’m in the flower business and find weddings often feel terribly generic. This is not the case. Congratualations Sandy and Darrarith!
Such stunning flowers! The photography you show is just so inspiring!
I’m helping organise and shooting my first wedding in a few weeks, if anyone has any tips at all please let me know!
Please check out the blog to see my style :-)

‘The Owl & the Pussycat’ inspired wedding vows? I’d love to know what they came up with!
