A Lovely Costa Rica Wedding
I don’t have the opportunity to feature many destination weddings on Once Wed, so when I came across Kiley and Patrick’s wedding in Costa Rica I couldn’t wait to share it with you. There is so much to love about this wedding, but it was the bride and groom’s impeccable, classic style which first caught my eye…
We decided on Costa Rica because it was the most cost effective way to have a beautiful wedding. We didn’t realize until halfway through planning that it really was the wedding of our dreams, and we wouldn’t have done it any other way! We kept costs down in several ways, like providing our own playlist for the reception, and having our dear friends play music at at the ceremony — Patrick is a musician, as are many of our friends and family. The best part: once we said “I do” we were already on our honeymoon!

Totally beautiful! The images were so fresh and modern (but in that classic sort of way). Love that closeup shot of the bride’s hand on the grooms chest.
holey moley that shrug just totally transformed a simple jcrew dress. amazing idea.
The dress is from Jcrew, but it was topped with a shrug from Foley and Corinna — the shrug came first, the hunt for a matching simple gown, second.
The bridesmaid dresses were off the rack from Bloomingdales, which was easy because there were only two bridesmaids, both with fantastic figures!

LOVE. simple, elegant… great colors, great dress. Bravo all around.. I am getting married in Costa Rica next Feb, (using Comfort Studios.. yay!), and this wedding makes me that much more excited!
