Yellow Wedding Ideas
So far in this fun partnership with Wedding Style Guide we’ve highlighted the colors pink, green, and today we are highlighting the cheerful color yellow. Sadly, we don’t get the opportunity to feature a lot of modern wedding ideas here on Once Wed, so I jumped at the chance to feature this story below in hopes of offering a bit of inspiration to any couples who are looking to achieve a more modern look and feel at their wedding.

LOVE the buttons! What a fun thing to wear at the wedding and then everyone know if you’re a cousin, aunt, friend, etc… And a neat keepsake to have!
This is exactly the soft, butter lemon color I am accenting my garden wedding with. We are doing pale yellow tulips in my bouquet and pale yellow roses in the bout’s (against blue seersucker suits) and bridesmaids’ bouquets. I never thought I was a yellow lover but when I chose green bridemaid dresses I soon realized that butter yellow is the perfect accent color. My 3 year old niece will be wearing a yellow seersucker dress as flower girl and my 8 year old brother will be in his cowboy boots and a butter yellow button up. Yellow is so versatile if you’re adventurous!
Were using yellow for our wedding too so this post is definitely going in my inspiration folder. Thanks Once Wed!
I love this! I’m using a lemony yellow as the accent color for my summer wedding next year and these touches are a great inspiration!
Great ideas. I love the buttons too!
Yay for this! Yellow and blue are what we have decided upon. :)
I love yellow for photos. I did a yellow wedding last year. There were lemons everywhere and it made great pics!

Oh my {sunshine-y} goodness! These images are gorgeous! I think you may have just inspired me to design a wedding invitation suite around this! LOVE!
Our wedding color scheme was green, yellow and chocolate brown. My shoes, hairpiece and jacket were yellow!
We had custom buttons made through an Etsy vendor called Minepress — was only $20 for 100, with 3 different designs. You can find out more about the buttons on my blog
so sunny and bright. Great inspiration, esp that cake!
i love this color palette — very soothing yet happy!
LOVE yellow and gray! Especially with navy.
What kind of flowers are those? I love them! Do they come in other colors, too?
You can order custom buttons from Busy Beaver Company…i did mine there for our wedding. Oh, and correction on Bklynpillow site…I’m at etsy now. bklynpillow.etsy.com. :)
Beautiful! My wedding colors are yellow and charcoal gray, and I am just in love with all of the fun pops of yellow we are able to incorporate…
So glad you posted a link for the ring pillow too, that one definitely caught my eye!
Our wedding was {yellow} & I am soo happy I chose the color palate I did. It was absolutely beautiful; especially outdoors in contrast with greenery.
the perfect color for the grey of winter. makes me instantly happy!
Oh how I love the color yellow! I used pops of it amongst purples, deep pink, and green in my summer wedding last year. Two of the girls in my wedding party walked down the aisle in yellow dresses. How can you see yellow and not feel cheerful!? Great feature….feelin’ happy!
love the colors and the pins for nametags is a fantastic idea!
Love the color theme… Love everything!
Stunning post!
Love, Love, Love the yellow. Thinking I need to do a yellow and light blue wedding invitation set to get ready for Spring.
i looove bright yellow!! it’s so happy – thanks for the beautiful ideas!
What kind of yellow flower is in the bouquet?
I don’t think I have ever seen one.
At first glance I thought that the white flowers in the top left picture were daisies but they look more full than daisies. Do you know what kind of flower they are?
