my wedding ceremony in last Nov. 22nd, and has been dry cleaned for the new owner. it was originally European Size 10 ( usually converts to American sz 4 to 6) but was altered to a size 8 and may go back to a 10 or it can always go down the sz. And for those of you who are not so used to wedding gown sizes, you should go up about a sz or two compare to your normal clothing. I usually wear sz 4-6 or small , but I am a little busty and i started with sz 10 and tucked in the waist line and reduced the thickness of sleeves. they can be restored, if you bring it to a professional alteration people. you can usually ask some high end bridal salones, but please DO NOT bring this dress to your drycleaner for alteration. I don't know the exact measurement of my body at the time, but i know i gaind about 6 pounds from than and my waist measures about 26.5" now. since I chose to wear some really high heels, the hem length is the original full hem length. for better body shape, three extra bonings were added in to the corset-like top in the front. it's done all inside, and is not visible from the out side. as you can see in the 3rd pic. i also got the alteration ladies to attach the hooks inside for the tail. it's perfect for reception or moving around before your ceremony starts. the hooks are not visible at all and when they are bustled up, it gives you nice volume right under your waist and makes your waist look thinner~! it's very cute when it's up. I had basic dry cleaning from the wedding dress specializing dry cleaner. but the dress may need some extra cleaning since I did not ask for preservation. for your information, they said preservation comes in a preserving box, and is usually meant for the people who would like to keep the dress but will not wear it again. there are still some minor signs of dirt or use on the back hemline of the dress. but they won't be noticeable when you wear them. my theme color was blue, as you can see on the last pic. if any other bride has blue themed wedding, this dress will be just perfect! it's made with 100% finest silk and decorated with exquisite hand embroidery and sparkling swarovski crystals. the detail is just beautiful, and the color is unique yet not too vibrant and feel very sophisticated and elegant. this dress is from st. Pucchi Couture line, and I originally paid for around $12000.00 at the time of purchase. since it has been used once (for about 5hrs? i think) I am selling it for less than half of the price!
