Sweet California Wedding

Real Weddings

The fabulous Bonnie Tsang sent over this lovely California wedding earlier this week, and I’m so exited to share it with you. It has such a soft and beautiful color palette, with just the right amount of whimsical details. It reminds me of a little girl’s garden party with a touch of elegance.

Does anyone recognize the bridesmaid dress and where I might be able to find it??

Thanks for all of the lovely comments! OnceWed was the wedding blog that introduced me to wedding blogs. Without the beautiful weddings featured on this amazing site, I would have been lost (planned my own very DIY wedding). Also, Bonnie Tsang is brillant and I’m so lucky to have found her through my dear friend Krista. Oh what fun I’ve had todayknowing our humble little wedding was featured on OnceWed!!

Jessica ~ The flower in the Mason Jason is called Misty Blue. Got them at Flower’s Wholesale here in Los Angeles. They are very budget friendly and quite beautiful.

xx Dyan (the bride!)

I love the bridesmaid dresses as well! Who is the designer?

Nicole & Janice ~ I actually had the bridesmaid dresses made by a woman in Cape Town, South Africa. She had made them for her daughter’s wedding and I contacted her (after seeing her daughter’s wedding on a blog) to see if she’d make a few for my wedding. Let me check w/ her to see if she’s still willing to design more. I’ll report back soon!

All the best,
Dyan

DYAN!!! Can I get your email address??? I tried to contact the bride whose mom made those dresses, but I have had no response back( I got her email address from their photographer). If you could please help me out, you have no idea how much I would appreciate it. I saw a picture of those bridesmaid dresses and I’ve had to have them ever since, then I saw yours and I thouht the same! janicegiraldo@gmail.com

What a gorgeous wedding! I love the “hideaway” feel with the garden/outdoor setting for the reception. And those cute succulents are such a sweet idea for place cards.

Loving the garden feel for this wedding! The table settings and place cards are adorable! I’ve been looking to do a garden theme myself, but haven’t come up with much more than a good vendor for favors that’s within the budget: CreativeWeddingFavors.com My budget might be a little tighter than this wedding’s, but I’m certainly aiming to make it classy with a touch of whimsy, like this! Thanks for the inspiration!

What a wonderful, beautiful wedding! It’s so elegant and personal — I love how the tremendous care and attention of the bride and groom show through in every detail.

Dyan, if you’re still reading these comments, first – congratulations on an amazing wedding! and second – where oh where did you find those incredible bottle vases? They are picture-perfect!
