This is a gorgeously etheral dress, it has the whimsical romance and youth of lace, made more unique and sophisticated because of the clustering of the sequins and details. It makes you look like you are channeling Uma Thurman:) I was looking for a dress that was light, looked ...

vintage but couture. The added attraction for me was that you could wear a normal underwear, so it was also very comfortable and easy to move around in. It was worn once on December 12th 2009 and is in perfect condition and extremely new. The dress has three thin layers, the first is a soft, matt chiffon crepe in ivory, the second is a gauze layer and the third is the intricate and full lace, with small matt sequins sewed onto the lace. When the dress moves, you can see the three layers mixing at the bottom and it photographs beautifully. The outer lace is amazingly intricate, there's a delicate yet complex paisley-like floral and vine pattern running through it and two gathers on the left and right side which pleats together the lace material. The ruffles on the arms and dipped back are also made of gathers of the same lace. Minimal alterations were made, the length was shortened about an inch and I had a second sliver of gauze added inside the gauze neckline to cover a bit more cleavage but this can be easily removed. The dress comes with a tan velvet belt with the signature hand-rolled flowers. We had the most perfect wedding weather and day and rather than keep the dress in a closet, I would love it to be shown and bring someone the same joy and luck that it did me.
