Once Wed goes to Washington!
I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be taking part in The 2nd Annual Luxury Event presented by the Couture Wedding Consortium of Washington DC coming up on February 6th. Blogging has been such an integral part of Once Wed’s growth and I’m very much looking forward to the opportunity to share my experience(and mistakes!) with a small group of VIP vendors taking part in the this event earlier in the morning and then actually attending the event later on in the afternoon with fellow bloggers Oh So Beautiful Paper, District Weddings, and The Relentless Bride.
Below is a small list of exhibitor’s(more to come next week) who are showcasing their services including the amazing, The Cotton Bride, who is also giving away the lovely wedding dress you see below to one lucky attendee.

I read the site daily as does my mom along with one of my bridesmaids ,who also just got engaged and is planning her September wedding. She also lives and works in DC. I’d love to go! With an August wedding and my job keeping me on the road 250 days a year Once Wed has been a HUGE help! We’d love to go to the DCCWC, we could get a huge jump on the planning process and take some of the pressure off us.

i’d love to go! i am engaged and live and work in DC, and haven’t had much time to work on planning my september 2010 wedding. i still need to find a dress!!!
My sister is currently a med student at Georgetown, and too busy to have the time to find all the inspiration she’d like for her May wedding, so I’d love for her and I to get to go to this great event! So many vendors in one location at one time!

I’m so inspired by the creativity on oncewed.com. Finally a departure from the cookie cutter ideas! We just got engaged on New Year’s Eve and are putting our sights on a Fall wedding in the District. I would love to kick off our planning season with this event. <3
