Hello Brides! I have a beautifully classic and oh so breathtaking Monique Lhuillier wedding gown that has yet to be married in. I bought this dress several years ago to be married in the following summer, but was then forced to choose between buying a house or a big wedding,... thus...

choosing to buy a house I postponed the wedding and later broke up with my fiance. Because I thought this was the perfect dress I couldn't part with it and have had it hanging in my closet since. I decided to sell it because I'm simplifying my life and am now confident I will again be able to find the perfect dress when the time comes. This dress is so Beautiful, I can not say that enough. Classic, simple, elegance. Strapless, A-line, natural waist, with antique lace bodice overlay. A bustle has NOT been sewn in yet. Original cummerbund/ belt that was made to go with the dress, was ordered brand new ($350 directly from Monique Lhuillier) and hasn't been altered or attached to the dress yet. It was a sample, but there aren't any tears or stains, although you will notice on All delicate lace dresses that there are some tiny pulls, etc. Nothing major in the slightest. This dress was bought at Mon Amie in Costa Mesa, CA for $3500 plus tax, and plus the belt. I am 5'6" tall, 125lbs, wear a 32B or 34A bra, size 27 jeans, and wear a size 0 or 2 for dresses. The dress was altered to be worn with a heavily padded bra and shoes to add 2" to my height. I took in to a seamstress and this is what was written about the dress: Measurements: LENGTH - Dress length from the waist to hem: 41 1/2" - Dress length from the top to hem: 52 5/8" - Adding length was deemed to not be a good option BUST - If need to add "girth" (around chest) to this, can add an additional 3/4" total (3/8" each side seam). - UNDER bust, the dress measures 25 3/4". - At the bustline, it kind of measures 28", but not accurate because the dress dips below the bustline in the back, so hard to measure this. So would be a bit more than 28". (The dress "top," meaning the upper edge of the fabric, is higher in the front than the back, if that makes sense). WAIST - Measured this just flat across, and got 24" Condition: There are some teeny tiny small snags in the lace. Cannot see them unless you get right up to it. Not many. The lace is so very delicate. It's VERY hard not to snag this delicate lace at some point. Dress has been dry-cleaned before alterations.
