(not lying, it is the truth). I wore this dress for my June 20th 2009 wedding and had it cleaned 3 days after. The dress is spotless except for a few of the dots on the very bottom and the under layer is slightly tinted if you really stare at it. I am just under 5'10 and did not have the length altered so if you are shorter you may want to shorten the dress slightly. I had the bust taken in slightly to fit more snuggly which did wonders (I wore a B34 bustier for extra va voom). The only other alteration was a french bustle which could be used or ignored as you can't see anything from above. The dress label states a 6 and I wear a 6, sometimes a 4. If I didn't wear the bustier, I might have gone for a 4. Hope that helps. I can't say how amazing I felt in this dress and how perfect it was.
