It was originally purchased at NY Bride in Charlotte, NC for $4800 and was altered from a size 10 to approximately a size 2, and I purchased it from the original owner in April and added a 5 point bustle which can easily be removed if desired. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned since my June wedding and the only blemish they were unable to remove is a small, light gray spot on the underside of the hem of the silk liner. I have since also found that there is some odd stitching on the strap of the silk liner as well as a very small tear, a little smaller than the length of a dime, on the train. However, when the dress is worn, none of these items can be seen and they certainly do not detract from this gorgeous Monique Lhuillier design. I have factored these things into the price, which is why I am offering it at less than half of the original value.
